WHAT TO PAIR WITH PITUSA: SUMMER SHOES

When summer rolls around, we get so excited – and I mean: overzealous, over the moon, we are decidedly into it. Summer is what the Pitusa girl was made for! If it were up to us, we would live in a Desert Mini all summer long (ideally, on the beach, glass of Rose in hand at all times). It’s not just because we have the chance to trip the light fantastic in our most wearable, breezy, no-brainer Pitusa pieces (which is obviously a BIG reason to celebrate), but also because we can finally take out all our summer footwear, as well as lust after new sandals (that we eventually can’t help ourselves from buying). The best part about summer? It’s an all out, no holds barred excuse to wear wild colors for months on end, and no one even bats an eyelid–heavenly.

Stumped on what to wear with your Florentina Maxi Dress, $137 ? The truth is, at Pitusa, we love comfort – and we know very well it can be all too easy to just throw on a pair of flip-flops and call it a day. There’s not much fun in a few pieces of rubber slapped together, and why do it to your poor winterized feet–since we’re all so spoilt for choice these days! We’ve put together some of the absolute chicest options for your pedicured toes this summer. It’s a jungle out there, and we know firsthand how overwhelming it can be shopping for the perfect summer shoe. Check out our picks below for a very Pitusa summer list: pastels, pops of color and comfort is queen!

Soludos, Flamingo Embroidered Smoking Slipper, $65

The comfiest, chicest espadrilles this side of Spain – Soludos is a mainstay in our wardrobe and this year they’ve started sticking embroidered Flamingos, Bulldogs, Lemons and more on their shoes — like an emoji salad for your feet and right up our street.

Zara, Multicolored Flat Braided Slides, $69.90

Zara is always a good go-to for the budget conscious sandal addict – even though they don’t last much longer than a couple of summers, they always have something fun to slip on. Pair these with our Farmer’s Hat and go strawberry picking — ’tis the season, after all.

& Other Stories, Fringe Slip On Sandals, $95

When it comes to fringe, we say more is more, meaning give us all the fringe all the time on everything please (would it be too much to wear these with our Mystical Maxi Dress, $137 ?! We think not). We love these cute little slip on sandals: perfect for a party or a beach day–and they won’t break the bank!

Ancient Greek, Ikaria, $125

We are big fans of Ancient Greek at Pitusa. They know just how to make a no-nonsense sandal with a quirky vibe and LOADS of color options. A brand after our own heart!

Loeffler Randall, Finley Strappy Mule, $245

Loeffler Randall manages to hit it out of the park ever. damn. season. How do they do it? We’re not quite sure where their shoe magic comes from but we are lusting after these pink slides. Dreamy — perfect for steamy summer nights.

Cornetti, Anguria Sandals, $295

Like we always say: we do love a sandal with attitude or a piece of fruit plonked on it. These watermelon sandals are too cute for words and can basically be worn with ANY of our dresses (in Watermelon, of course).

Carmelinas, Iris Sandal, $220

Can’t you just picture dancing the night away in our Fiesta Dress, $151 and these bad boys? Us too. Anyone have a winning lottery ticket we could take of your hands?

Castaner, Campesina Espadrilles, $160

Stripes and sailors, we do love a boat. Get these cute little rainbow espadrilles and take some sailing lessons. Can’t you just see it now? These babies and our Lemon Maxi Dress, $108 — perfectly poised for high summer at sea.
