Our pieces are inspired by travels around the world and the diversity of cultures. We are a female-led brand employing female-run and operated ateliers. We place an emphasis on luxurious fabrics such as pima cotton from Peru and lightweight gauze cottons from India.

Clara Lago Rashidian – pītusa’s founder and CEO – with no outside investment has grown the brand to one of global recognition since its inception in 2010. Clara grew up in London and is of Spanish and English descent. She now lives with her family in Miami, where pītusa is headquartered.

Spanish for “cute, funny little girl,” pitusa was Clara's childhood nickname given to her by her father. pītusa embraces this sensibility with its bright, lighthearted aesthetic that transitions easily from beach to street.

pītusa has since found a place in the world’s leading retailers such as Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Shopbop, Revolve, Selfridges, Brown’s, Fenwick, El Corte Ingles, Harvey Nichols (Dubai), and specialty boutiques worldwide.

In the United Stated, pītusa has a flagship store in Miami, Florida (Wynwood neighborhood) as well as international stores in Mykonos, Greece; Tulum, Mexico; and most recently opened its doors in Ibiza, Spain.
